EA macht Schluss mit BF2! Wie gehts weiter?

    Wie wahrscheinlich bereits einige von euch mitbekommen haben wird Gamespy den Saft abgedreht.
    Ob dies nun aus finanziellen Gründen oder auf Anweisung EA's erfolgt sei dahingestellt.

    Auf jeden Fall stellt sich nun die Frage, Wie läuft's weiter mit BF2??

    Höchstwahrscheinlich wird nach dem Shutdown erstmals kurze Zeit nichts mehr funktionieren.

    Es bestehen jedoch bereits diverse Projekte, um eine Alternative für die alteingesessenen BF2ler zu bieten.

    Je nach dem werden wir einem dieser Projekte beiwohnen oder bei Bedarf selbst eine Lösung suchen.

    Es bestehen ebenfalls Gerüchte, dass EA selbst eine Alternative anbieten möchte, wir werden sehen..

    Für Vorschläge, Anregungen & Sonstigen Anliegen steht dieser Thread gerne zur Verfügung.


    Stichtag ist der 31. Mai 2014!

    BF2 läuft nun ganze 2 Tage nach dem Stichtag immer noch einwandfrei.
    Wies aussieht werden wir nun doch noch ein ganzes weiteres Monat haben.
    Wenn das Spiel den 30. Juni 2014 auch noch so gut übersteht, dann ist es wahrscheinlich echt unzerstörbar. :thumbup:

    I really like you brought back syred to bf2, the patch has risen up from death.

    From players view i noticed some things:
    - people only play at the proving server (which contains in the evening about 40 players, looking in the BFHQ at rising stars, shows there are a lot more active players.)
    - because people only play on the proving server, there is no infantry map with players. And the karkand map in the proving server has vehicles, which is a pity. (there are way better maps with vehicles)

    so the big question of today:

    could you change the karkand map in the proving circulation to karkand infantry? it would be really nice to introduce infantry to the new player, (and get some infantry medic teamplay from the old days.) :thumbup:

    thanks for your suggest to improve bf2.

    i think we could try a test run for karkand infantry & afterwards we will collect the opinion of the whole community.
    i will post anything related to this in the news channel.
